Zoom H5 Handy Recorder dari Zoom merupakan perekam digital genggam yang ringkas dan portabel, mampu melakukan four-track recording dan fitur sistem mikrofon modular yang dapat diganti. Alat perekam dilengkapi dengan kapsul mikrofon XY dan kompatibel dengan jajaran modul H6 yang sudah ada termasuk mic shotgun opsional dan modul input XLR / TRS.
Modul mic stereo XY yang disertakan menyediakan dua mikrofon kondensor unidirectional yang dipasang pada sudut 90 derajat, serta dilengkapi sistem shockmount internal dan SPL maksimum 140dB. Selain itu, perekam dilengkapi dengan dua input untuk source eksternal, memungkinkan Anda untuk merekam secara bersamaan dengan mikrofon XY stereo yang disertakan untuk total empat saluran input. Setiap input dapat dikontrol oleh gain knob analognya sendiri, dan juga memiliki pad -20dB.
